I concur that the current strap actually fits the overall watch quite nicely. It accentuate the golden hour markers and hands on the dial.
Trust the engine will be as nice and clean as the carrosserie 😀

thank you gentlemen, I beg to differ - this very worthy tan textured strap was made by the craftsman who’s making the special order @Rman organized.
However, I have a couple more tan ones which will be very well suited for this watch—- apologies for taunting you a bit, but just to clarify I am not letting go of any.
And a few additional gratuitous shots.
Those reflections on the crystal are a pain as always.

It would be really nice if the case back were a hippocampus- those are quite beautiful. But it’s not; it is one of those flat beveled case backs with the words “Seamaster” and “waterproof” at the back, not bad either though.

Mine was my third order. I have other favorite go to craftsmen (for exotic leathers, special projects etc) but he definitely has in my opinion the top choice of leather colors and textures, as well as the most passion for and attention to period correct details.
