Hi again.
This is my father's watch, is also my first memory of this world; a big hairy wrist with this wrapped around it.
I was just wondering what it is.
It's been around since the 1950's at least.
Thx,
Bill

Hey Bill, sounds like a great memory. Your photo didn’t post, can you try again?

Hi Bill, thanks for sharing. I’m not familiar with the model but at some stage in the past it would appear that the dial was painted. If you could ask a local jeweller to open the case you’ll find a case number inside the caseback (an online search of this number will return images of other examples of this watch) and the serial number on the movement can be used to date the watch. If in doubt perhaps take images of the inside of the case back and the movement (with numbers) and share here. Hope this helps.
