I feel like all the stars aligned on this adventure, from a work friend advising me to research further, the good fortune at finding William's site and his willingness to offer such good advice, to Simon's great work. Now I just have to get over my terror of wearing such a beautiful and valuable antique on my wrist!

路I am thinking my next step is to order an extract from Omega to complete the story.
Should you request it I鈥檒l put my money on Danish provenance, not sure my mind serves me right but i feel like most of the 2915s that came up in the recent past with an available extract were mentioning northern European countries

路When I started to read the first few lines of your story there was a sinking feeling of the disaster to come of a complete Omega service of a 2915, but then thankfully the story took a great turn and the watch and its history was saved from the brink of disaster.
