In another thread I found this list. Seems that the 540 are actually also an 'approved' combination for the 166027 (more than that they just seem to fit by coincidence)
Sorry. Totally forgot to get back to you. I took some pictures and it looks like 532 yes. I never knew this.
yeah, must admit I thought the Bulova was a nice touch. under-rated maker, particularly those with USA movements.
That 120 has been wrapped in cotton wool all its life. I’ve said it many times that vintage is not my thing really but I do appreciate it and that is just stunning. They all are but the 120 wow. In focus as one just went up for sale on the forum.
I reported this fake but the report didn't hold or maybe it's the weekend, let's prevent another unsuspecting new Omega enthusiast from getting burned and report: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Omega-Seam...pid=5338899135&customid=&toolid=10001&mkevt=1Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Fake cases have nudges now too
Expensive but maybe up for a lower offer: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dial-quadr...pid=5338899135&customid=&toolid=10001&mkevt=1Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Saw this one in my ebay watchlist today, best offer was accepted and the original price was $1,995. Seems like a good price to me with the bracelet, although the lume appears very faded / possibly cleaned from the dial. Anyone here get it?
Here’s my 120. I heard that its common that the bezel fades to this ‘ghost’ color. This is due to the material used on the bezel. Can someone tell me more about this?
I wouldn’t say it’s common, but as the bezels are anodised aluminium (like most Speedmaster bezels) they can fade naturally under certain conditions. Mine also has a faded bezel
Is this so? Because when I collected these I found the no dates fairly often. Maybe time has changed. I did'nt look at them for the last couple of years.
