Movado Calendomatic

I am joining this forum to learn more about my Movado Calendomatic watch which I just inherited.
But my main point right now is to make sure I can use this forum - all forums are slightly different!

So two quick questions -
1 - does anyone have any specific recommendations about using it?
2 - is there a specific Movado sub-forum - with Movado experts?
3 - did I get the picture properly attached?

I know nothing about your watch but can answer your other questions.

Yes, the picture is visible.
No, there is no specific Movado subforum. Movado is in this location: https://omegaforums.net/forums/other-watch-brands-forum/

There is a Zenith sub forum, which you may or may not want to use.

One hint, use Google to search the Omega Forums as opposed to the search function embedded here. Google gives better results. For example, you could search "Omega Forum Movado calendomatic" and several threads pop up.

Welcome. That's a nice looking watch.

pdxleaf thanks for your helpful reply. I think I used that "other-watch-brands" search the other evening.

I will get some questions thought through and reply again soon.
Will also try to remember I planned to use my Oneseat name here (not my dereklola name - both
vintage car racing associated!

Back soon - Oneseat.

I used to own a calendomatic. Yours look fantastic! I think my only advice is that you don't change date between 10 and 14 or so, it can get stuck, if you know what I mean. It's a very cool model since it's both automatic and has centre seconds.

Very cool watch. Unfortunately Movado isn't a popular brand now so a lot of history has been lost. Their current offerings are bland and more fashion watch that watch collectors avoid. It just doesn't have the fan base of Omega or even Universal Geneve.

I only have one Movado but couldn't really find any information on it either other than what the seller told me about it.
