Really cool watch. The colour of dial is brown or grainy coffee colour. Just fantastic piece to have.

I seriously doubt that 5513s are underrated!
Came by across a couple of people mentioning how the 5512 was more desirable (Steve Mcqueen wore one etc), hence why I thought the 5513's were underrated. Hopefully I'm wrong about it as I'd really like to get one next time!

I'm not usually a fan of tropical dials... but that is my kind of tropical! Got a Polerouter something like it:

Rolex Day-Date Ref. 1803....made for the Italian market. Only the Italian wheel fits the movement properly, making it a rare piece. It's my everyday watch! Here's a photo.
That day wheel is not in Italian.

How about a yellow 1802

How about a white gold 1803

Good hunting

Ah, you've been looking at that Turn-O-Graph too then😒. My birth year......must resist.

No, I'm out of the Rolex game. Sticking to what I know I'd like, and maintaining focus. 👍

Ref. 6024

+ side = old, very, very low production numbers (cirka 1000), large size for its age - 36 mm, smooth bezel, quirky with its one side visiable lugholes, high dome plexi, killer hands, etc.
- side = no famous history, cool wearers, mountain tops, adventures at sea, etc.

Bought this one for coffee money in 2010-11. Ref 6024, cal 710, circa 1952. They do not surface often but when they do they are not expensive.

Today I wear it on a 19mm Rolex Oyster 78350 with 557 bits.
Earlier I had it on a Hirsch Ocean shark.

Until you mentioned the Turn-o-graph a couple weeks ago I hadn't ever seen it before. Definitely one of the few I would be interested in. Maybe that and a DJ with an engine turned bezel and a blue sunburst dial. But still not a market I plan to play in either.
