Something has just caught my eye , is that a MKII racing in the red box by any chance .

 

What is the purpose of all these pictures? As you have already been told if you want help, zero in on a particular watch or watches and post proper pictures. If you just want to make a mass stealth sales post then just don’t.

 

OP is soldier in Afghanistan and has access to a lot of used watches from the sixties. He offers to act as courier if anything looks interesting to others. See his other thread.

 

Is that really what he's offering? To act as a go between between members here and Afghani watch trader's there? Seems to me like a hell of a lot of unknowns exist for both the OP and the forum members if this is indeed what he is offering. The OP clearly has very limited knowledge, if any, of vintage watches. This knowledge is essential, especially if you are positioning yourself as the middleman in a deal.

I thought the OP was more interested in either buying something for himself, or buying anything decent amongst all that tat to flip.

I read that too, either way, lots of risk attached with this kind of transaction.

What happens if there is something wrong with the watch? The buyer returns it to the OP who then has to return it to the seller via the Afgan middleman as the actual sales location is out of bounds.....

 

Whether it's a stealth sales post, acting as a go-between, or the OP is asking for advise on watches for him to buy, it's ridiculous.

 

I would be very interested in the provenance of all those watches, taking into account the origins......

 

Isn't that tantamount to selling?
