路Yes - that case has been refinished by a person perhaps used to Rolex. There was another Ed White in Phillips HK with similar polishing.
and a truly batsh*t crazy estimate that ed white has even if case wasn't refinished

in my opinion, some watches failed because they had dials which were not originally mounted in this type of watch (for example a Suiza dial on a watch delivered to Chile). Some numbers did not match. Different numbers on case back and lug. It seems that the collectors of valuable Longines chronographs have a good knowledge and are very selective today...
