·My 2541.80 is a 1998 serial, I purchased it in 2018 and had it serviced by a local Omega authorised service centre in I think 2023. He remarked that it appeared to have never been factory serviced and he had to use some sort of special Omega jig to replace the crown tube as it was originally soldered and the current service parts are threaded.
All of that to say, to my knowledge it's almost certainly still on its original seconds hand, and it's not faded at all that I can tell. Here's a pic from a couple years ago:
When I was researching this model originally, it seemed to me that early tritium models were far more likely to have faded hands and ghost bezels. I think I've seen similar reports from others? But that's pretty anecdotal.
