·Looking to sell or trade my Omega Constellation Grand Luxe that dates back to 1966/7. This was the top of the line model and features an 18k gold case, dial and very unique solid 18k gold bracelet. I prefer to wear watches I own but this one is in such good condition that it’s been locked up in a safety deposit box since I bought it approximately a year ago.
The watch is in mint overall condition as is evident in the photos. Some might even call it NOS/near NOS 😀
The original, unrefinished dial is in mint condition. The case has not been polished and is in excellent condition. Watch and bracelet weigh approximately 125 grams. The case features fancy hooded lugs.
The 18k bracelet is in mint condition. The grand luxe bracelets are absolutely fantastic but oftentimes lose their form/shape with use. The bracelet on my watch seems almost unused. The bracelet was adjusted to fit my wrist, which measures just over 7 inches. Three links were removed from the bracelet as it was originally too big for my wrist. The three additional links add approximately 11.5mm in length and will be included with the sale. The unique spring loaded clasp functions properly.
The watch features the original, Omega crown and crystal.
The watch is powered by an automatic 24 jewel cal. 564 movement, regarded as one of the best movements ever produced by Omega. Serial number 24,xxx,xxx dates the watch to approximately 1966/7. I have all of my watches serviced but did not want to risk damaging the grand luxe given it’s condition so decided against having it serviced. As is evident in the photo, the movement is in excellent condition but could use a service if it’s going to be used for daily use.

I am looking for a straight sale or a trade for a vintage 18k Omega deluxe model with hooded lugs and/or stepped dial, preferably watch head only. I had bought the grand luxe for my wedding which is coming up in a few months so am interested in finding another special piece for the special occasion.
Price: $6500 USD (net) + shipping
Watch and I are in Canada. The watch can be shipped from the US for US based members or F2F in/near Seattle.
Pictured Constellation box will be included in the sale.
I have plenty of references as buyer and seller that can be provided upon request.
