I was wondering whether anyone can provide insights into the authenticity and history of this watch. Any information with regards to its value would also be appreciated.

I don't know much about these, but there is no way in heck that is the original dial to that one.

Thanks. Yes, the seller believes the dial was restored but I’m unsure to what extent that impacts the value.

A redial turns it into a 'parts watch'. So it is worth basically the sum of its parts. At least the seconds hand is a recent replacement as well, and I doubt the crown.

Case is damaged and overpolished (and corroded1), so there isn't a ton of value to it.

So the answer is: "A ton". There is, IMO, little value to this watch. A few hundred at most.
