Thanks for this post. I am eyeing some seamasters and may add the midsize to my list. It’s really the lug to lug that would bother me. The one time I was at an AD I only tried on speedmasters. It was quite nice the guys in the AD were very cool. But I took too many pictures I think they were starting to get annoyed. At the time bitcoin was mooning I don’t think they realized how close I was to pulling the trigger. If my wife wasn’t on the trip to Boston I very well may have made a purchase but in the end I’m glad I didn’t. At that time I was still trying to recover from an injury and not working. It really would have been bad timing.

sorry going off on a ramble. I think I’d be more comfortable with a watch that is a little too small than a little too big. Am I correct in saying they have the same movement?

I wear a 2005 22525000 automatic. Black bezel, Mid sized. I have ‘normal‘ size wrists, but prefer it as it’s not as cumbersome as other watches for a daily wear.

I found a 2001 model with box and papers for £1950. Seems they go for a few hundred more than the blue ones.

Thank you exactly what im looking for is it automatic?
no this is quartz, I was looking for a thin light watch for comfortable wearing under a shirt. I may regret later not having the automatic, but I love this one, has lots of wristtime!
