路Ah good idea. I took off my speedy and put on my favorite watch. My grandfathers bulova. Nice to think of family members passed or in other states I can鈥檛 see this Christmas.

路Don鈥檛 hate me, but I don鈥檛 wear a watch when I am home. Very sad this year. Should have been back in the UK seeing my Mum (not getting any younger) and the rest of my immediate family, but for obvious reasons that is not happening this year. So, it is just me and the wife home in NYC. The good news is that despite her being a Los Angeles native, she cooks British, so looking forward to prime rib and Yorkshire pudding for our Christmas dinner tomorrow!

路So it鈥檚 this...The President. Wedding present from my wife. Worn on my birthday and Christmas Day only. A very merry Christmas to all forum members. You are a great bunch and I really appreciate being part of this community. Let鈥檚 hope and pray 2021 is a much better one. And to the above poster as an Englishman in New York I can sympathize. My wife is Russian so guess who is cooking tomorrow?!!! No turkey this year. Leg of lamb, Yorkshire鈥檚, sprouts and roasted potatoes .
Watching It鈥檚 a Wonderful Life on NBC.....and realizing how lucky I am.

Glad to see your post. Inspired by your watch and the reason for putting it on, I put my grandfather鈥檚 1945 Bulova Officer watch on to remember him along with my many other family that have passed away over the years plus those living that are not present this year.
