It's a morose Christmas for us unfortunately. First time in ages where we can't get together on account of a nasty Covid outbreak here in Montréal. Made some tourtière (meat pies), bœuf bourguignon and a chocolate pie. The missus and I will uncork a proper red. I'll have a few Guinness first. So for the occasion, my most colourful watch..

Just the movement shot? So, I’m off the hook for that other thing?

The other thing? Yeah, we're cool there....

just keep it down or the goat will hear.

And you know how the goat gets.

The long-suffering girlfriend wears this to humour me:

So a Certina-themed Christmas, just like I like it 😀

Mrs. flw and I send our warmest greetings to all of you on ΩF as we close out what I'm certain has been, for every one of us, in some ways the most challenging year of our lives. May you enjoy, in person or in spirit, the comfort and presence of your loved ones.

Our older son (in the US Army) is home for the first time in a year, and staying through the New Year. Our younger son just got his first college acceptance, to the aviation program at Western Michigan University. So it looks like a good finish to our year.

Tonight I'm wearing a piece I treasure, a gift from my wife three Christmases ago.

I was wearing my Grandfather’s Nivada but had to take it off, when I had to help my oldest daughter (6) because she threw up all over her room after eating way too many sweets. It’s not puke nor water resistant.

Earlier in the evening my youngest daughter (4) peed all over the floor due to Christmas excitement 😵‍💫 Standard Christmas with small kids

oh well, here is the watch

Reverting to a watch from earlier in the week, Valjoux 72C powered Benrus Sky Chief....a simple pleasure for a vintage guy like myself.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and the best of love, health and happiness in the coming year.

In the category of, “when life sends you lemons, make lemonade”, all three of our sons, ages 18-23, returned home several months ago due to Covid....it has been a blessing to have everyone together again, and to have their girlfriends regular fixtures in our home...it has been a wonderful “next chapter” that would not have happened if not for Covid. Try to find something positive even during dark days.

Wishing you all the best...cheers!

TinTin would be my choice, but as the Monza was an early Christmas present this year I'm kind of obliged to wear it 😀.
Wishing all the Omega Forum members all the best for today.
