Hi to all OF team,
I received two days ago a silver pocket watch as a gift and I'd like to know some info, history or reference threads or documents where I can learn about this watch.
It looks to be a Merk Thiel (German made) pocket watch from the beginning of the 1900.
The logo it's almost not readible but it looks to report:
MERK THIEL
LEVER
It is not working apart the pusher that sets the alarm hand and it rings also.
I don't know how to check if I can adjust the time ...
I ask to you ann help, even preliminary, to retrieve some info regarding the watch and than proced with a service from a specialist.
Thank you in advance for your help

Setting the time is done by pushing the button on the edge of the case at tho 1, holding it in, and turning the winder to set the time. Unable to advise about the clock not running, or who you might get to service it.
