Odd but lovely lever-set Lonville - pocket watch conversion?

I picked this up a while ago, mainly because i love the dial design. It has some really unusual detailing with a gold reflective pattern under certain lights, with gold, ornate numerals. It is lever set, and has a diameter of around 39.5mm without the crown, so pretty large. I love wearing it, and assume it to be a pocket watch conversion of sorts. I haven't opened it up to see the movement as I don't really want to disturb it too much as it keeps great time although the 'tick' can be heard from a mile away. It's quite hard to get a decent picture showing the gold highlights without getting light reflections.

I wear it a lot - but cannot seem to find any information on it apart from one other picture of a Lonville pocket watch with the same 'circle' hands and identical number details.

It does look like a pocket watch dial, and the plum hands are a nice feature - I’ve seen them mostly mid-1920’s and older. I’ve never heard of lonville though, probably a private label run from a larger manufacturer. The watch will be well overdue for a service if you bought it “a while ago” so you should get that done and get photos of the movement when the watchmaker opens it up. This watch won’t have shock protection, so if you’ve been very careful and lucky to not drop or knock it around so far, then keep up the good work.

Our Story - Lonville Lonville

"Lonville is the French name of Langendorf and was used to give a different image and air to the German-sounding Langendorf. At this stage the majority of the watch industry was already predominately located in the French-speaking part of Switzerland."
