I bought this from a charity shop and wanted it cleaned up and glass replaced but was wondering would it be worth it.
The movement works and seems to be in good condition apart from there is no glass. The stamps on it are:
728 on the watch face door
1365728 on the movement outer door with an eagle looking crest saying below I:
Warranted Gold Filled Case To last 20 Years Swiss Made
It has then got 2 smaller scrubbed markings on the surface forming of numbers and letters, which is hard to read
On the internal movement door is the same serial number as the outer door.
This is a lovely pocket watch I will keep for my Sons wedding and to pass on to them.
