I laughed but actually these types of threads are popping up all the time now. We now see people asking if their Sea Dweller is ok after being worn in the shower 馃う

Maybe the person with the Sea Dweller thinks they're some kind of mer-watch, that must fully return to the sea nightly, lest it permanently be stuck....with...legs? Crap, IDK; to me that makes more sense than worrying about a shower...

And a computer fan damaging a Speedy...oh FFS ::facepalm1::

Well, I really want to believe that somebody is just practicing their post-irony humour for a watch-related stand-up show. Hope so...

Rightly so.
I would avoid having showers with any watch. I believe that temperature difference might cause issues.

Wrong thread. This belongs in the funny but real headlines from the news thread.

I'm positive that NASA will include the "laptop exhaust" test when it reevaluates assorted watches to assist in the selection process when the agency selects its new "moonwatch" in the future.

Do I have to join WUS or can any experts here answer the guys question? Some of us here might rest our wrists a bit too close to our laptop exhaust pipe or cup of ovaltine.

I subjected mine to intensive fondling actions and so far, the only damage is my bracelet got caught in her bra.
I can't find any guidelines whatsoever and I'm worried.
Maybe I'll ask over at WUS.

Yes, and that fast moving water comes with increased pressure, that's not good. I have read somewhere that this extra pressure may be hazardous and can corrupt watch WR, even if it was WR200.
This risk, of course is manufacturers' faul, they should test WR at dynamic pressure of the fast water.馃檮

Just don鈥檛 move your arm under water...I hear the dynamic pressure induced can pop the crystal or caseback, whatever is the weakest link...
