Hi everybody,

until now I have been very present only in the modern Speedy Area, but maybe it will change sometime ...

Now I have a vintage Speedy in my radar, only thing I am concerened about is the second chrono hand,
the rest looks more or less good to me. What do you think about this one:

Compared to the information from my Omega Speedy Bible it seems to be mostly original at main components,
numbers fit...?
Have you seen these second chrono hand on a 1969 Speedy somewhere?

Hallo Hans,

The chrono hand shouldnt be a deal breaker, if everything else checks out.
I saw this listing too and thought it was a bit overprised.
I would ask the seller for better pics though.

Kind regards

Chrono hand is wrong, to be replaced. How much is the price?

I would say your Goldie is now your first vintage 😀 hand can be remedied (but it will be extremely difficult to remedy it homogenously)…all comes down to price.

Hard to say exactly but it appears the chrono hand is correct for an early 2998/2915 reference.
Shouldn’t be too hard to source the correct type hand and sell/trade the existing hand.
