Hi,

looking for some advice on a mainspring winder set. I have a collection of Omegas now that I want to start servicing myself. Until now I have just replaced the mainspring each time.

movements range from 266, 481, 552, 562, 564, 565 and 7750 variants.

not much around apart from Bergeon either ETA set or No 0 to 15 set. Cousinsuk have a other set with a mix of 10.

are there specific sets for Omega or are most of the pre-2000’s Omega movements have an ETA equivalent?

thanks

My advice would be to keep replacing the springs - I have a set of mainspring winders but I rarely use them. Usually only when I have to install a special end spring...and none of the models you list there requires such a spring.

Although they do make sets for specific calibers, most times that's really not needed. As long as you find the right arbor and winder combination that fits in the barrel, you are good.
