I love the style of these microbrands, and I'd like to know, based on your technical experience or your history with those brands, which of these three microbrands you believe has the best build quality for the price? do you believe parts or service in the future will be a challenge for those brands!

Maen, Baltic, Brew-Watches

I own 4 baltic watches. Overall I’ve been very happy with them and their service levels. My Aquascaphe divers have the Miyota engine and my tri Compax has a Swiss movement. These are easily serviceable. I’d avoid the Chinese movements if you are concerned. Can’t speak for the other brands mentioned but they make a good product as well from what I’ve read.

I've owned a Maen and was very impressed with it: the quality and engineering wasn't hidden at all but case size was a little too small for my preferences.

I've also owned that very salmon dial Baltic: it never misbehaved in any way but it felt much lighter in the hand and on the wrist.

Thank you for your comment. That is excellent news. I believe Maen's sizing fits well with my rest.

I’ve had this Brew Metric for about two years. I really like the retro styling. It’s a meca-quartz and keeps great time. I haven’t had to change the battery yet so I can’t comment on the process, but for the money it’s good build quality and nice finishing.

It genuinely looks gorgeous and very cool. This will now be on my list. Thank you very much for sharing with us. I hope you enjoy it in good health.

I also like the look of the Maen Manhattan but have never handled one. I’d be interested to hear from anyone who has.

Maen Manhattan looks great and classy. I want to see some members speak and offer their thoughts as well.
