I vote for your old one. Luckily it鈥檚 your watch and you like it and that鈥檚 all that matters. Funny thing, personal taste.

I agree. Personal taste goes first but what can beat plexi, fluted bezel and jubilee馃榾

I loved to plexi. However that watch had a refinished dual and wasn鈥檛 running to good and the case had some deterioration however it absolutely was fantastic. This 16203 was just serviced and polished and pressure tested and has a warranty against everything including water.
In My business my hands get wet all day so I made the call. I know I will end up getting another older 16104 or 16013 at some point. Going from ss vintage 3035 plexi etc to the 3135 with sapphire and two tone definitely is taking some getting used too. I do love it though and this is the one that spoke to me.

Good arguments! And if you change your mind you will always get new opportunities.

The old one has a lumed dial with no-lume hands, which I don't think is correct. (The reverse situation is ok.)

My 1601 is still one of my favorites and remains so no matter how many other watches I get.

These are tool watches, not investments so I support this move!

Always a fan of the blue dial on a two tone watch. Nice choice of an upgrade. As always, it鈥檚 preferences. 馃榾

Exactly there was those little things that really bothered me, for some reason I really like stock and original watches except maybe a bracelet change here and there but with a vintage Rolex if it鈥檚 not accurate it鈥檚 really annoying and those hands were not original Rolex although I did have the original faded hands the seller sent me so I could have fixed that. All in all I鈥檓 happy and I鈥檓 sure when the time is right I will come across an original with correct dial hands etc. with acrylic. I appreciate all the responses. Love this group of people.

The refinished dial on the older one was very well done except the minute markers were incorrect for that dial version. With this one the blue is also much more chameleon like. Going from almost completely black to very very blue

Very very nice, not a model that we see every day. You made a good choice.
