Reminds me of the old joke about automation: The new flight deck crew is one pilot and one dog. The pilot's there to feed the dog and the dog's there to bite the pilot if he tries to touch anything 😉

This was a program in the UK called ‘dogs might fly’ where they taught dogs to fly a light aircraft.

I’m not sure they were taught how to use the pushers on a flightmaster though...

The more harrowing aspect is his taste for Theo & Harris videos.
Bad doggy!

Meanwhile back in the real world...….Pigs might fly...and dogs

Scientists looked at their memory, reasoning, communication and empathy during the training period, with the most intelligent dogs being sent to flight school to train in a single-engine aircraft. One will eventually be chosen for the plane flying challenge.

A clinical animal behaviourist and a police dog trainer helped prepare the dogs for the flight challenge, but Stanley Coren, professor of canine psychology at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver believes it is unlikely a dog would be able to fly a plane “Given that we would not expect a human three-year-old to be able to fly a plane, I would not expect that a dog could do so either,”

Dogs have previously been taught how to drive a car

when dogs fly is it time to panic?.....

I don’t think so [imho]...I’ve heard that dogs are pretty good pilots. 👍

Hey...did you steal Archie Luxury’s [Paul Pluta’s] “I [heart] Bangor” idea? 😲

Sure looks like it, dude. 😁

Probably better drivers than 90% of the people who get licenses.
You’re probably right...I mean think about it, dude...dogs don’t have opposable thumbs so they probably blow off attempting to operate cell phones in all aspects of their daily routines...which probably includes while driving. 👍
