    Hi Guys/Gals
    I recently bought my first Omega,which is a Seamaster 300 Co-Axial.
Which i love, but i dont think the Lume is working properly,as it only lasts a short time.
I assumed that once activated,it would self charge ?????????.
But that doesn’t seem to be the case.
I have done the usual ultra violet without great results.

any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
    thanks in advance.

    Rob

You'll probably get answers posting this on the Modern Omegas Forum.

If you point a flashlight at it for 10 seconds then walk into a dark room, how long does it take to get dim?

    Hi Foo2rama
    Thanks for your reply.

it will only last a short time, an hour or two.
Surely this can’t be right. ???

This faux aged lume doesn't glow worth a damn, which is why I sold a perfectly good limited-edition Railmaster.

I did, however, look up information on Super-Luminova, and the the information I found suggests it needs to "charge" for 20 minutes to get maximum life. So get your bright light on it for 20 minutes and then see how long it lasts. Also... it's not what you can see immediately, it's what you can see with dark-adapted eyes. So don't expect to see much walking into a dark room.

    Thanks SP
    Appreciate the input.
I’m not really expecting miracles, but would like to go to bed at night and be able to see the watch in the dark when i wake up,but this isn’t happening at the moment.
    I will re-try your suggestion.
