Hello Londoners! Has anyone seen the special edition in person yet? Impressions? I live in the US (Denver) but have my name on the wait list and was just notified by the boutique they have one in stock. Was hoping it would come in later when I was in London to see in person. Many thanks

Omega unveil the new ltd edt London inspired Seamaster. After viewing the Venice inspired Aqua Terra and passing, this is a must for me, yes, it's a numbered ltd edt and the case back showing the London sky line there can only be 1 number that really counts... Downing Street anyone? Boutiques only!
They just did the same in Singapore

I have a SS Venizia Edizione; they are not a limited edition but the back story of Venice's connection to the Seamaster is enough for me. I have the Swiss Boutique limited edition. I am in the queue for a London limited edition. The Paris, New York and Singapore are not my cups of tea. I have a reservation for the 1948 center seconds 1948 Edition. The case back is a different than I would have hoped. I also wish the 1948 SS had Sedna Gold or Yellow gold hands and markers like the Platinum edition, but over $42000 for platinum is also not my cup of tea. Thanks for starting this thread.

WOW, sounds awesome! I for one can't wait for the London edt. Maybe I'm biased as I live here but, the dial looks amazing and so vibrant compared to the others. As much as I like beige and grey they don't seem to draw the eye quite so much, unfortunately the uniqueness of the case back is normally only appreciated by the owner because each city version looks beautiful and interesting.

I have the London edition on reserve with one of the boutiques. Nice low serial number. Unfortunately won't be back in London to pick up until late May while on vacation. Without having seen in person, I am cautiously optimistic! However, love that dark blue color and have a sentimental connection to London. Thanks To the Moon as well for staring this thread!

Excellent! It will be very interesting to see as to when the more... Desirable numbers will be arriving. I have heard from 2 separate ADs stories of a specific number sought after to which seems to have a link to this thread. Would be interesting to hear if anybody is seeking the same number. Supprisingly it's not 1 nor 399

I got my Seamaster last week. It is even better in person and was able to get my number of choice which is below 25, so I'm happy. The price was higher than what was originally announced though.

This is the only photo I have taken so far https://imgur.com/a/dmEpDbe . The article where I found out about the watch stated it would be £4650, but lets just say it was over £5500. But as I said, I still think it's worth it, it's really amazing and has to be seen in person. It would be cool to put it next to one of the other City Editions.

They are £5600. I too was originally quoted £4650 when I first called to get on the list. The price hike made it a lot less desireable to me. Besides I missed the chance anyway, as they called me and I wasn’t able to go in within the day or two they hold it, so I’m probably off the list now.

That's a shame on both counts. Can't see how they can increase it that much, over such a short period...

I did show them the original article and made it quite clear how it was not good practice to put up the price like that. They wouldn't negotiate on price but did give me a few freebies, like a replacement strap as an apology.
