Loose Metal Square on Omega Chronostop Dial: Help

Today I was about to wear my chronostop when I noticed what appears to be a loose metal square on the dial.

I did purchase the watch from eBay and have not had it serviced yet.

I took the watch off in hopes the dial will not be scratched or it the square fall onto the date wheel.

I can not see any furniture from the dial missing. Any idea where this may have come from?

Thank you for your input and wishing everyone a great day.

That's most probably a broken fixing clamp from movement. I guess it came to the front through the date window.

A most likely answer.

Best get it to a watchmaker for a service.

PS: Very nice dial on that one, needs a new crystal to really show it off.
