So would you say 1919 is correct? I see what you mean about the hammered/fishscale and yours is just the plain / scrolled effect xx

I use Bob's Watches chart..................and why I always say WW1 era.....dates are an educated guess if you want the exact year of manufacture.

Can I just say a big thank you to everyone who helped on this thread. You have given us information that means we can maybe back it to a grandfather who was bought it on the birth of 1 of their children. That is what we are taking from the years you have given us. Thank you so much xx
