The patina on dial and hands is quite nice!



Completely filthy with the bracelet packed with dirt, and the case so bad you can't see what the model or serial is without scraping the crap off the case. Not sure if this qualifies as a barn find...family piece so might be hard to get the owner to part with it...

Yes....a bit eager to get back to being productive for sure. BTW my parents never banned from dating any of the girls I dated over the years - one of them I wish they did though! LOL!

I have two 1016s actually. One is a matte dial '69 with later (service) dial and hands (but they are beautiful). The other is a gilt gloss dial-turning-chocolate example, from '66...

Dennis, I'm afraid Kyle has had dibs on that one for a few years already...but you're right, I'll probably never sell that one! In any case, it seems to have appreciated >200% in value since I bought it about 5 years ago, judging from what dealers are asking for even lesser examples these days.
