These are pre-owned watches, but I would definitely NOT call either of them vintage. And they are completely different types of watches. Are you sure that this is what she wants? Or maybe something more vintage looking.

too vintage. wanna get her something modern but "vintage looking" 90's-2000's. came upon those two but seen the problems. Looking on ebay right now for one for her also but worried about buying a watch from ebay.

Got my good lady a birth year Omega, a nice little De Ville 551.0066...

...worn once, actually twice after we picked it up from a service and now it just sits in a box, her Apple gets all the wrist time.

if the omega speedmaster per your 1st watchuseek watch link (automatic speedmaster) refers to the cal1140 and produced in 1988-1996, technically that is already at least 25years old (1996 + 25 = 2021). personally, my threshold of a watch age to be considered vintage is at least 25 yrs old. hence, the 2nd watch link you posted showing the seamaster 1998 is short of that period. but, at the end of the day, it's your wifey's choice.

    plus

    1. it's auto chrono where your wife doesnt need to manually wind everytime.
    2. the omega chrono looks more fit and dressy for her.

    just my 2 cents.

There's something I'm not understanding here. I know spit about watches (by OF standards), and it's not my place to say this I know, but are you seriously targeting a 39mm watch with a 7 3/4 inch bracelet for the lady in your life? Is that truly what she would welcome?
If 1990s is what "vintage" means to you, and it's for a lady, maybe a Manhattan style Constellation might actually be the way to go.

I guess that was my point. Neither of those watches are vintage-looking to me. Aesthetically, they are virtually identical to current models. I think that your best option would be a modern re-issue of a vintage watch. These are called "heritage" models.

like this watch a lot for her.
    SEAMASTER 1948

discovered it upon searching dan's link for the heritage models.
does anyone have these pre-owned or ? , also how do i make sure if i buy pre-owned it's authentic like off ebay or from a jewelry store.

i got my aqua directly from omega. but am trying to save some money on the wife's watch.

If you are in the US, eBay has an authenticity guarantee. :D
