    Hello

    Just acquired a lovely Polerouter/date ref. 869119/01

took for servicing and they said I need the following,
    - Crown
    - Pendant tube (Crown tube)
    - Split stem (both male and female)
    - Case clamp - 1pc

would appreciate some direction to get the parts.

Try @bgrisso - he has a broad selection of parts.
Also Ebay has the broadest range of parts in one setting.

    Also nice PR!

Silly question but if that is your watch, why do you need a crown? That crown is correct for that reference.

    Is it broken?

Does it wind, set time and date? Is it a screw down crown? Maybe a second opinion is in order.

I took it to watchguy.co.uk for complete service, in my email exchange he is saying the watch crown and crown pendant/tube have half a turn of thread left. I found that a bit weird because I remember it threading and locking properly.

It does set time and date and I remember that it does screw down, and after some asking around it turns out that my ref. 869119 uses a threaded stem which is correct not the male/female type.

He is refusing to service the watch saying to bring it back once I have all the parts.

Ok, guess its time for a second opinion.

    Any recommendations?

You could try @Mitka. He's serviced half a dozen of my polerouters so has a fair amount of experience on these. He seems friendlier than the watchguy too.

Thanks for the info. On a separate note, just incase my post gives a negative impression of watchguy. Their communication and service experience has been very good and friendly. They just want to make sure everything is correct before servicing.

The good news is, I got in touch with Adam of www.universalgenevepolerouter.com and he informed me that what we believed to be incorrect (single piece stem and screw down crown) was in-fact correct for my model, and that to wind the watch you need to wind forward and backward and so on to avoid catching the thread.

Anyways, in light of this info watchguy is going to service the watch and hopefully all goes well.
