Looking for my "everyday" Omega Seamaster

If I were starting out new, I would be looking at Aqua Terra, and the older ones without the grooved dials. I happen to be blessed with a dozen amazing Omega watches, though, which I do not want to get rid of. 😀

Same here... and I love those older 2500 era ones, with the double indices at 12, especially in black or blue... But the current ones are quite nice too, better than I thought when I tried a few on. The silver/white dial is fantastic in person. And of course the black is great too. Would be a tough choice.

You're question is, you are considering an "everyday seamaster." The Seamaster is currently four subcategories. The Aqua Terra, the diver 300m, the Planet Ocean and the Heritage models. You asked about three from the diver 300M series. What would be an and everyday, timeless watch that fits both the dressy and casual occasion. From your three choices I would go with the diver 300M on steel bracelet, you can decide if you like blue or black. As The NTTD version has no polished surfaces and no date, it reflects the tool watch military influence. Also really brings on the heritage with the faux patina lume. Many guys wear divers as the all around watch. The 300m diver on bracelet has the right amount of polished edges, and the 13.5 mm thickness still gives it a fit under the cuff size.

I’m very firmly in the Aqua Terra camp, I’m not a big fan of the skeleton hands on the various Seamasters.

I think it’s harder to dress up a diver bezeled watch.

I did have a quartz seamaster professional I thought very highly of. I particularly loved the sword hands on it.
