Hi all. I'm trying to find out what reference number my old mans watch is. He inherited it back in the 70s from his uncle when he passed. I believe it is a late 60s KM Seamaster De Ville, but unsure of which one. I would absolutely appreciate y'alls input!

Dial has Swiss Made T on it not TSMT. The case is gold.

Fairly educated guess would be American market KM6292 or KM6610.

Marked between the lower lugs should be 14K GOLD FILLED for the 6292 or 14K GOLD for the KM6610.

I am blown away by your ability to do this.

I would be careful not to move it around too much. You don't want that loose 9 o'clock marker getting caught under the minute hand and drug across the dial. It can make a nasty mark. It is well worth getting it serviced by a skilled watchmaker. They can remount the marker while they are cleaning and lubricating the mechanical works. When they open it up they can get the identifying numbers off the inside of the case to verify for sure what @X350 XJR has told you. The stretchy band is not original to the watch, and I would recommenced putting it on a nice strap.

Be careful with the lugs. It looks as though as one one has ‘pinched’ the lugs to reduce the lug width, perhaps to better fit a band that is smaller than the standard 18mm
