·Found a bag of watches the other week at a local garage sale. Nothing wildly special but there was this older Citizen automatic Eagle 7 that sparked my curiosity. Edit: Yes, I know these aren’t the most valuable ore the most rare, nevertheless it caught my attention.
I’ve searched and searched and searched, scouring the web for another example of this reference number / design, but no such luck. So far all I know is that due to the serial and the 18mm lug width it is most likely from the 1980s. I’m trying to learn a bit more about these, so I figured I’d come to the experts here on OF to see if any of you recognize this one or recommend a good source to learn.
Looking forward to hearing any thoughts about the watch and/or resources. Thanks for stopping by.
