I saw this watch from the Facebook, it could be a fake one. However, I really want to know the story behind the omega with the Freemasonry symbol
    Thanks for reading

    It’s a fake.

    So there is no story.

At some level you have to admire the chutzpah that would be required to 1. do that to any watch, and 2. think that you could sell it as an Omega. Outstanding effort really.

That's a nice looking pillow crown on it though. Just what I need for my early 50s Pobeda!

although the watch in question is a fake there is a connection with omega and the craft these photos were taking back in 2015 at the omega museum by a friend kindly sent them to me.

there's enough of this stuff showing on ebay to tell us that...

    A) There's a small industry built up around manufacturing this type of stuff out of perfectly good though fairly worthless pocket watch movements

    and

    B) There's enough suckers / newbies out there who think they're real to make it a very profitable business.

My personal favorite are all the Waffen SS and Luftwaffe knockoffs.... some of those go for real money!

there's a lot of Russian "Luftwaffe" Leicas out there as well.... for those who like to loose money on crap cameras.

Or did you mean the rolls with her?
