Looking for hand part 168.0065

Earlier this year found a bargin on a Constellation 168.0065 from Japan. Only hitch is it was missing a minute hand.

Does anyone know the part number for hands of that reference?

I've been patiently searching for other junkers to nab hands from, but would like to expand my search category if I can.

I'd send it off to Omega as a last resort, but I'm nervous. I'd rather not send it in just for a pair of hands in case Omega decides to polish the case despite my wishes.

Thanks for the advice in advance and wish me luck!

Call or email parts suppliers and mention the case reference number

sold in pairs, but can also order generic hands

mention colour silver and black paint insert to be sure.

Jules Borel, Otto Frei and McCaw. That is if your in the US

The hand fits the movement and dial. These are the tables from 1961.

The hour, minute and seconds hand are all listed separate.

Looks like hands are specified by diameter and length, Which is how OFrie lists them. The stuff in the wild is pretty much picked over.

The minute track on the dial is pretty much going to define the length. The adverts and omega vintage pages are not that much help as dials seem to be specific to a given watch.

There may be bestfit aftermarket reference. I have some of these assortments, they are pretty generic.

Tha ls for the feedback!
Good to know Ofrei designates that by measurement. I had been hunting around for official documentation, but that works just as well. Going to have to measure my dial and make an inquiry.
Shame the 500 series and 1000 series have different cannon pinion diameters, or I would have nabbed one from there. You've been a great help, that's a ton!

Thanks, I was in awe once I got it in hand. Love the satin finish on the dial.

Hi, Case looks nice - are you sure minute hand hand is the only hitch? It looks to me like you may need a crown as well?

Regards,
VB

Got the crown, just has to be re-attatched. Picked this up as a project watch. There are a couple of internal parts that needed replacing, but the minute hand was the only part proving to be elusive.
