I'm looking for assistance in Singapore (Serangoon area). I've located a watch that I've been searching for for a while but seller is only interested in meeting up (posted on Carousell)--seller has positive reviews and has provided pictures. It doesn't look like he will ship watch. does anyone have advice--it's a pretty difficult watch to get...

Any help/advice would be appreciated!

Good luck, my boss is going to Singapore in a few months and the flights seemed cheap. I'm US-based but wish you the best in getting some assistance! Can't count how many times I've also experienced this situation where there's a good deal but seller not willing to ship... not sure why though if you are willing to pay up-front?

I'm in a somewhat similar situation in that I'm eyeing a hard-to-find watch on Carousell from a private seller, and in this case he actually will ship (to the USA), but he doesn't offer buyer protection and only accepts wire transfer up front, and even though he provides photos and seems to have decent reviews, I'm just not sure I can stomach wiring many thousands of dollars to a private seller in another country sight unseen with no recourse if anything were to go sideways. (Has anyone done this through Carousell and had success )?

My potential solution is to find a dealer in Singapore willing to broker the deal, and I may have found one. I can let you know more info when they respond if you'd like?
