Send it to the Ridleys, two of the best in the US. They will source factory parts and will keep the watches originality in mind.

I've heard LA WatchWorks is solid in the US.
They are good but they are getting REALLY pricey. They were always the most expensive place to go and they just raised their rates another 20% last month. A service on a Speedmaster for example is now $1200 usd (gulp!) and that only includes labor and gaskets, no other internal parts at all.

Update: I contacted Watchrepair.net after researching them pretty thoroughly online. I checked the BBB, and multiple review sites. Most of the recommendations on this thread came in after agreed to let them quote the watch. It was a little unnerving sending the watch off to a unknown entity, but it all went well. It took three weeks including transport time to get the watch evaluated, serviced an repaired. I ended up getting a complete overhaul, new mainspring, Rolex crystal, and rotor axle. They pressure tested it and provided a one year warranty. The dial and hands were not replaced and no polishing was done on the watch. All parts were genuine Rolex. I was a little disappointing that they did not include time graph data for the regulation though. Happy with the job. Parts included, I spent $789.00.

These guys also have very long turnaround times too...
