My new favorite watch is having some issues and is in need of service/repair.
A vintage Tudor 7020 "jumbo". Searching the internet as well as Omega and Rolex forums it seems the AS 1895 movement can be difficult to service and make repairs.
Any recommendations from forum members would be much appreciated.

Portland OR would be nice, but I would be willing to head up as far as Seattle if needed. THX! bbr.jpg

Kelly Hunter at Art of the Watch is your man. I have used him and others here recommend him.

Back from the shop today! Looks great, and humming along. Took about 5 months, but Kelly Hunter seems to have come thru!
Thanks wagudc for the info regarding Art of the Watch. The 2 previous attempts were not successful.

Yep, that was my experience with Kelly Hunter. A long wait time, but the he was honest about how long it would take and did quality work. Good watchmakers seem to be in high demand these days (at least in the U.S.). If a watchmaker says that they will have the watch done in a couple days I would start to wonder.
