I have a nice 145-022 Speedy but over the years and several services, someone installed an incorrect link on the end of the bracelet (far end side of the Omega Logo) a few weeks ago I saw that some jeweler had overtightened one of the screwable links and created a hairline crack from the screw top to the top of the oblong links edge. I thought I could just replace the link with a new one....however, both the end of the bracelet and end of the clasp are now wanting a screw or cotter pin to go thru both parts to hold it together. It would be like needing a link with two holes on the oblong top and bottom to accommodate two pins. The only ways I can think of-if a correct end fitting does not exist- is to open the folded steel, wide, last link pinned to the clasp... or get an expansion link and have a second top and bottom hole drilled that would be on the opposite side of the oblong top and bottom to accommodate a cotter pin or a screw pin it the holes were tapped.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance-mogwan

A photo would be helpful. Otherwise, the severity of the issue is a little hard to follow.
