Any ideas when and why the Omega Gods returned to stamping 1171 on the 1171/1 bracelet?

So as not to get caught out, I think the differences between the original 1171 and the 1171/1 and now 1171 as I understand them are:
1. number of side clasp holes being 8 on the new 1171 and 1171/1 while only 7 on the 1970s 1171
2. link pins rather than screw pins
3.The number 32 on the new 1171s as opposed to 11 or 12 on the original 1171
4. The original 1171 also had both the recessed square and recessed trapezoidal logo
5. Longer and wider clasp on the newer productions
