hello all hope everyone is well. I’m checking out this Hamilton guy asking 288 might get for 250. I think it’s 40mm. I like the look of these Hamilton’s and the history behind the brand. I know flipping is looked down on at times but I think there might be some room to sell it, only to use the money towards a zenith or more likely once I get it and see it I keep it which is what usually happens. Just wondering if any of you have the watch and what you think.

Actually forget the selling idea a nice newer Hamilton would be a great addition to the collection and I think 250-288 is a good deal just checking opinions.

Hey sorry just realized this isn’t an open back. Aren’t most models of this Hamilton open back where you can see the movement? Perhaps it’s the age

    it's a quartz watch.

you might get someone to pay 300 bucks for it but that might be wishful thinking on your part.

Nice dial, pretty face, and I love Hamiltons.

But I agree with SeanO. Buy it if you like it, but I really don’t think it’s a watch you could flip and get any nearer to your goal of buying a Zenith.

Yeah just realized that he has it advertised online as auto but with the solid case back I found it’s quartz. To bad it is a nice looking watch

Yeah I have but if this was automatic as advertised it would have been a good watch. I’m not completely against quartz but I wouldn’t want this Hamilton at that price in quartz. I’ve been lucky and found a seamaster deville at a very low price so deals do pop up This isn’t one of them.

Tbh after picking up my speedy I’ve been trying to slow down on watches but I still look around so what is out there. I tell myself I won’t buy anything for a period of time but it usually doesn’t work out
