Does anyone own a Weems model on here and care to share some wrist shots? I've been reading the history of Mr.Weems being the inventor of the rotating bezel. The watch itself seems pretty darn cool too. Would be interested in hearing others' thoughts and experiences with this model.

Unless you are going after the 33mm ones which are $$$$$$, they are tiny. I have one that I bought becuase I was fascinated by them and when it arrived I was shocked at how small they are. I have 29mm watches I wear, but none that have a pronounced bezel as well.
Next to an A11 at 31mm for scale

That said, throw them on a bund style strap and it could wear just fine under long sleeves like these at 28.5mm

Thanks for sharing!! I was looking at this model LONGINES Limited to 3000 Weems L2.608.4. Says 36mm, but assuming based on what you saying even this will probably wear smaller. Was going to try and hold out for one at a better price, but just not sure about that also. Seems like a majority of them are in Japan.

Oh no!! Those are totally different- that’s the reissue and those are spectacular! Get one for me while you’re at it!

But- at 36mm they will still wear smaller like the divers from the early 60’s like the Devil Divers or Seawolfs. But it suits the style of the watch since it’s not a diver.

Awesome. I'll buy two!! Haha still waiting on Christmas check, but feeling like Clark this year! I think the re-issue is spot on too!

I have this one which is around 33mm

Had one of those and sold it on Ebay about 10 years ago, went to a German doctor iirc. Why did I sell it? ::facepalm1::

I know the feeling so I stopped selling watches for a long time.

I also saw the watches originally owned by Mr. Weems, still belonging to his family but not yet donated to museums; you can read about it here: https://www.mwrforum.net/forums/showthread.php?94032-Sharing-Some-Weems-from-PVH-Weems

Here is my Movado weems 😉

Very interesting and educational. I just learned a lot about navigation. Thank you @Seiji for taking the time to put it together!
