longines still hasn't figured out that the peeps that want their heritage are also the ones that want a smaller size...

previous years 38/39mm have been huge lug to lug. which basically ruins it

The 38.5 case for the heritage military was fairly small lug to lug. I suspect the new models in that size will use a similar case.

It’s the other ones like the legend diver which are too wide (at least for me) and that’s a shame. But I guess there’s something for everyone which is good.

I agree with you. A reasonable 36-38 mm size with less than 11mm height and manual winding will be an outstanding watch in Heritage Range.

Being an admirer of vintage watch design - I find them really attractive, and being likely able to revive the brand.

Me too - but what do you mean by revive? They're the 4th largest watch brand by sales (2019)

There are many more surprises friends from Longines in 2020-21.

Aren't most of these already released?

I think by 'revive' he meant to say the old glorious past of the brand.

I don't think so.

From the ones I quoted, the heritage sector, the fumè dial divers, and the Chrono are all out already

I saw this online - absolutely love this. It's the first of all of the modern Heritage Chronographs they have made in the last 10 years that I like to be frank. But given the automatic movement, it's likely to be too thick for me.

This is awesome. Cant find it on the Longines heritage section. what is the name or reference number of this Longines?

I'm hoping (but not optimistic) that the Tre/Sei tacche remake and the Bullseye will be slimmer than 12mm, which is the thickness of the current Heritage Sector Dial model.

I think they should be of similar height if yours too have L888 automatic movement inside. Just my guess

That bullseye is near perfect(I say near as would have preferred manual wind and a tad smaller).

Any sizing available on this? Crossing my fingers for 40mm or less! It really hits a lot of the right notes for me.

The Heritage MN also hits the spot. Found some more info here - https://dolinski.pl/longines-heritage-military-l2.833.4.93.2/

The sei tacche back is a great touch. The blackened superluminova is also interesting!
