What are people's thoughts on the 7042? Does anyone own one?

I had a chance to try on a couple recently (here's a pic) and think I'm in love. Such a beautiful watch.

If you're into 42mm super compressors - as any right thinking person should be - the 7042 is essential. Here’s the plan: get it, then round out the collection with a UG Polerouter Sub, Vulcain Nautical, and JLC Polaris. Next, add some obscure ones like the Bulova and the Damas Marinograf. Finally, tire of the Polaris and sell it to me at a steep discount. Go!

This is the first version of the 7042, with little lume dots at 3, 6, 9, and 12. One of my favorites.

haha, indeed. polaris would be a grail. your version was the other one i tried on. i think it is rarer? so nice. the smaller lume dots are such a subtle difference. regrettably, i was too excited to take any more pics.

I have the bracelet but not the watch !!! The bracelet is 22 mm and starts to taper..... fist link off the end pieces is like 21mm....

Let me know if any one as a spare watch for me...
