·For my first sale on the forum, I am offering a Longines ref 8236 with sub-second dial:
- Manual movement Cal 490, which keeps good time but service history is unknown
- Watch is 35mm in diameter w/o crown and 9.5mm thick. Lugs are 18mm.
- Silver dial in good shape, with only a few spots that are unnoticeable except under magnification
- Silver markers with onyx at 12, 3 and 9. Similar onyx on hands
- Case has scratches commensurate with age, but remains sharp in my opinion
- Case back is clean, except for some small “pop” marks: I assume someone used a vice to close the back at one point in time
- Crown is unsigned and most likely a service crown.
- Comes on a generic black lizard strap.
Included is extract from Longines showing original invoicing in September 1969.
I’m asking $325 USD including shipping within CONUS. Payment through Venmo, Zelle or PayPal. Return accepted only if grossly misrepresented.
