    Hi Folks,

I just received my first Longines as part of a trade and assuming this may have happened during shipping, but the inner rehaut ring has “split” near the date window at 3.

I’ve never seen something like this but hopefully someone well versed can chime in. Would this be an easy fix? Not sure it needs the attention of a specifically skilled Longines watchmaker or not. Thanks in advance!

The tension ring inside the plexiglas is supplied with a new plexiglass and will
be a easy job for a watchmaker to source and fix.

Awesome, thanks for the quick response. I had heard they may be connected (tension ring and crystal) and that may be the case.

good news is the watch functions properly and crystal is quite secure, so I don’t think any damage has been done.

    Cheers!
