I believe DD12 now has strong evidence that Anti Magnetique is printed after the dial is initially constructed in enamel for at least one type of enamel dial.

I have a favor to ask for a 3852 owner with exactly same engraving style as mine. Can you ask Longines if your engraving was recorded in the Longines Archives? I can confirm that engravings for the Czech Army were done at Longines. Question is if all watches that were used by the Czech Army were done by Longines, but that is another question.

Also, Longines says that only plastic dome is correct for 3852 and this was also mentioned by another collector with many of these watches. I don't believe anymore that I have a legit crystal, but for the life of me, I haven't figured out how the replacement got installed.

Been some years since I got this watch so did a new search on the net to see if any new info was posted about the Longines Majetek and found this some thing new I never read before thought I would post the link here.

I think that is actually a translation into English of the original information from Adriano Divadoni that was only in Italian. Makes for a good read, in both languages. I feel as a few others on the forum, that there are some information that should be updated and corrected since the original writing some years ago.

Hi,

Very interesting thread.

I thought I would share my 3 Czech Longines.

1935 Civilian Longines, with porcelain “Non Anti Magnetique” dial and 15.94 caliber:

1943 Civilian Longines with porcelain dial, pencil hands and 15.26 caliber:

1949 Issued Czech Longines with metallic dial, cathedral hands and 15.68 Z caliber:

Hope you like them.

Thanks,

JM

My new addition. Delivered to Prague in 1946. Civilian version of Majetek.
Really dig the look. Waiting for new strap now.

Interested in a Majetek but nervous about fakes!

Eying this one, any insight into it from the photos?

Replacement dials but no fakes.
What are your concerns with that one.

Yes that is what I meant, is that a replacement dial? I'd like to purchase one as all original as I can.

Also have my eye on this one as well...
