Yeah... Could you imagine a 34mm version of this? Maybe that's not even possible with that movement. But 35mm-36mm and I'd be wanting one, myself.

It's very beautiful, marred only by the subdial placement, IMO.

If it's not sold with the watch I'm sure Hodinkee took it from their own'shop. If not I'm sure you'd find something similar there (not cheap) or something cheaper at bandrbands.com.

The suede leather strap is supposed to come with this model; not sure if they will be the same quality as that from Hodinkee. The strap was certainly part of the attraction for me!

A similar one could very easily be made on order with an outfit like Jean Rousseau even if the watch didn't come with it.

Not as yet, my AD is sending me updates as he hears. Right now he is still saying 2-3 months.

I went to an AD today to order one. They hadn't even heard of it. I had to look it up on Longines website for them. Not quite the sales experience I was hoping for. Very excited about the watch though!

Subdial size and placement are awkward at best...

Sylvie's (@Syrte) vintage watch: now you are talking! Bezel looks better too. Pure Bauhaus!

Did they give you an expected date for receipt?

No. The sales woman had to call her regional manager for information, who didn't answer, so she left a message. They're supposed to call me back. If I don't hear from them soon, I may try another AD.

I went to the Longines boutique last weekend to pay the deposit for the Flagship Heritage 60th (which arrives Sep) and the lady was telling me the Heritage 1945 arrives Oct. Seems it's quite popular, Singapore has only been allotted 1 piece, as opposed to 10 pieces for the Flagship Heritage 60th.

Ok, so the AD called back today. I was told that stores are only getting 1 watch and the price is $1,800. I put my deposit down and will be getting one. They're supposed to arrive in October.

Hey Spencer!
Yeah, looking forward to it! How are things on the other side of the world?
