Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get to our AD. This weekend is Thanksgiving here in the Great White North, so they are closed today. I have it on my calendar for tomorrow!!
And that is a very good wrist shot 馃グ

Hope it's not too long a night for you while you wait. I had it on the wrist all weekend, it's a fantastic watch, very happy with the purchase. When I was at the AD picking up the 1945, I saw the new Flagship. I'll be picking one of those up soon too.

There is something really strange about the subdial. I can't exactly tell what but it really looks off. Maybe too high. Maybe too small.

So now I know what y'all are talking about. Picked this up today:

Not the greatest picture, but I am very impressed with this watch!
Feels big on the wrist, but not too big. And the relatively narrow bezel certainly emphasizes the dial. And I really do like the colour.
Ben, thank you for loaning your watch to Longines to benefit us all!!

Any more wrist shot and impression of the 1945 after a few weeks?

Saw the 1945 Heritage at Joia / Galleria Houston mid December.

Very nice watch and beautiful textured dial. Congrats above to @CdnWatchDoc and @M.D. for the purchase!

It does wear bigger than you would imagine. Superb value for money at its price range. Would have pulled the trigger as a "fun vintage" watch for my collection...but I am still deciding on a possible Railmaster 57 LE, which will fill the "modern vintage" watch slot.

Shitty cell phone pic below next to my BLNR for reference.
