I have never opened a watch before but wanted to get into watches, I recently bought a longines case 8903-1 I was wondering does anyone know how to open this? I really don't want to damage it.

    thank you

Looks like a monocoque case. You probably have to get to it by taking out the crystal. Unfortunately the tools to do it are not.commonly found at your average watch repair place

With respect. If you have to ask, then don’t do it.

Thanks but it will be my first time doing it and everyone has to start somewhere. I saw some movement seem to have a little latch and some a little knob to release just wanted to ask if someone knows more specifically about longines 30l

Loosen the tiny screw pictured and gently pull out the stem.
